This 85' motor yacht powered by twin diesels was originally built for the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 at Cambridge Maryland. In 1955 she traveled to the west coast via the Panama Canal and was purchased by a southern California industrialist whom converted her into an Alaska Yacht Charter.
For the past three decades, Catita II has exclusively operated in S.E. Alaska and the Inside Passage, always providing her passengers with exciting adventures and memories.
The Catita II is the ultimate small cruise ship transiting the Inside Passage between Alaska, British Columbia, and Washington State. At 85 feet, the Catita II is a very stable charter vessel boasting 5 guest staterooms, 4 heads (bathrooms), a large salon and full galley.
Catita II has received a 5 Star Safety Rating by the United States Coast Guard. Out of the more than 3000 vessels inspected by the Alaska Coast Guard only 19 in Southeast Alaska hold this, the highest, safety rating.
The Catita II is maintained at the highest level, not only in safety, but throughout the vessel. Through her continued updating, and regular maintenance schedule she is in premier condition. All photos throughout the website are current, and are what you will experience when you step aboard.
During the Alaska small ship cruise season, the Catita II provides luxury yacht charters and liveaboard Alaska Fishing Trips for up to 11 guests. Being a Fully Crewed Yacht Charter, you are sure to cruise in comfort and style.
